As a business graduate from the University of Western Ontario, Joel decided to follow the family blue print and team up with his father Irv, who started Event Imaging in the late 80’s. Joel’s involvement began in 2001 and he has continued to grow and build the business into the industry leader that Event Imaging is today. “I knew it wouldn’t be easy,” says Joel. However, he wanted to make a mark in the industry just like his father did. Constantly working on the development and reinvention of the business, Joel has not only learned the qualities needed to be successful but is now passing off these attributes to staff members and industry members alike. Photography and event production is in his blood and it is more than just a passion, it is a lifestyle. The most satisfying part of his position is the opportunity to work with different business people and large corporations every day. Incorporating his life long love of sports into a partnership with MLSE has become a huge attribute to his success and that of the business. He truly excels in the aspect of making people happy with the product and service delivered. From the start of his career, he wanted to make a difference and have people view and share in his work with pride. After 20 years, it is safe to say he has certainly accomplished that.
